This is a beautifully printed Ankara Cotton. Also known as an African Wax Print. Ankara print fabrics are made with a wax-resist dyeing technique called Batik. Wax is printed onto the fabric so as to “resist” the dye from reaching all the cloth, thereby creating a pattern.
